I've noticed within the last couple of days that my front brake (probably the master cylidner) feels as if it is sticking. My bike is an 06 with 19K miles so I realize these things go bad after a while. My question is is there a way to lubricate or otherwise CHEAPLY fix the issue? I have been itching to upgrade to a ZX-6/ZX-10 cylinder anyway but money is a little tight at the moment. Thanks.

Maybe. It's not that they are sticking in terms of staying engaged or anything like that, it's just that there is some weird resistance when I pull the lever. If I work it back and forth a few times it gets better, but if I'm on the highway and don't pull the brakes for a while it does it again.

When was the last time you bled the system and put in fresh brake fluid?
Also, have you cleaned the piston area of the calipers?
Other than than, try a squirt if lube at the lever / master cyl. area.
