I recently changed the fluid in my brakes as my front brakes were getting a bit soft... Noticed a bit of gunk in the reservoir so gave it a good clean and put it all back together, bled the brakes and Bob's your uncle...or so atleast I thought. After about 5 days, the brake lever had become softer than before the fluid change and was less than useless. Thinking I had a leak somewhere I inspected everything and didn't find any leaks so assumed I had just left air in the system somewhere. Bled the brakes again, all was looking good until again 5 days later (this time not having ridden the bike at all) the lever pulled all the way to the throttle without so much as a bit of resistance.
I'm thinking that some gunk has got into the master cylinder and I have a slow leak that I just can't see evidence of? But is there anything else I should try before pulling it apart to rebuild?
Cheers in advance for any advice.
