There's always a way to make something work. In your case, you might be better off buying race bodywork and fitting in lights, either 2k stock lights or aftermarket. The benifit with race bodywork is that nonoe of the mounting holes are predrilled, so you can use which one you want and make brackets to fit others as necessary.
i have 2002 body work but think i like the 97 headlight better i have the 2002 upper, sides..and headlight...upper is stock yellow black and the side need paint, but can go right on no broken tabs on them 400 for the set, which includes the expesive headlight
