yes, 03 and up in the ZX6R/RR models, but the ZZR600 is still a giant gas leak, commonly referred to as a carb.
fuel injection depends on which make/model. fuel injection for sportbikes has been around since about 2000. it's a nice feature, but has a long way to go when compared to cars. the power commander acts as a piggy back for the injection system because manufacturers use a standard fuel map for all bikes. meaning that no matter how many modifications you make, they're not as efficient w/o a power commander. check one out if a friend has one. bypass the commander and then use it. there's an obvious difference in the performance all over the rev range
