I just got a 90' zx-600 from a friend. I know from his experence that if the bike sits too long the carbs go dry and will not start due to the petcock not having a vaccuum to it. I read in my clymer manual about a prime valve but cannot find it. Can someone help me? YES I know I need to find and fix the carb leak.

I used to have a ZX600R and don't recall it having a prime valve. My Radian does. Yoiu might just try turning on the choke and twisting the throttle a few times before starting it up. That should dump enough fuel into the carbs to get it started.
