I have read a bit about transmission problems with the 06 6r and I don't know much about it so I figured I should post and see if someone can help me out. My bike has 6000km on it and for the past 2 weeks or so I have been hearing a weird noise from the engine when it goes above 8000rpm. It sounds like a rattling noise, same as if you were shaking a can full of coins or something. Maybe it is nothing but it got me a bit freaked out. Also, it only makes he noise when I am on the throttle. If I get it up to 10000rpm and can hear the noise, when I let go of the gas it stops, even when it is still above 8000rpm. What do you think? Anything to be concerned about?

I use supreme gas, the recommended type. As for the clutch, I'll try that today and see how it works out. Hopefully it'll go away.

I held the clutch today when it made the noise and it stopped so I guess that is the problem. What does that mean?? Is the lever loose or broken or anything?
