What's underneath? Are you expecting to find buried treasure? Just kidding with you man. Here are a few pics of my '96 with the rear decals removed. Look closely though, cuz I didn't take the pics for the sole purpose of showing the decals removed. Hopefully I'll have some new pics of my bike soon.

Here's one WITH decals

And, if you look close, you'll see the decal gone, and also new flushmounts mounted underneath!

Oh yeah, to remove the decal, I used a hairdryer and peeled it off with my fingernail. Just wait until the decal is very hot. It's not too hard to do.

I was hoping to find that it was actually a 2003 ZX6RR when I got the decals off!! Just kidding...

That's good to know about the hairdryer thing; that's how I got rid off the stupid dealer-installed pin stripping on my VW GTI.

I went and had a really close look at the NINJA decals on my bike, and unlike yours, I think that it's actually a one piece decals with some of the green on the rear cowling. I was hoping that someone could help me with that before I do something I regret!!

Thanks for the help.

Hey All,

I just bought a 98 '6R in green and was wondering about removing the "Ninja" decals from under the rear seat.

If you take them off, what's underneath? How hard are they to peel off?

Also does anyone have pics of this already done? Thanks in adavance, and Happy Easter!

I have the same bike... The decals you cant remove are the Kawasaki on the tank, the white tank stripe, and the rear ninja emblem under the rear seat. It can actually be removed, but the end of the green stripe is part of the sticker, so it might look like ass with the green ending off bluntly.

Go green or go home...
