I heard that you can hook up the garage door opener to the horn, so when you honk, it will activate your garage door opener. Has anyone else heard that? If so, do you have any idea on doing this?

Thats a cool idea, the MV Agusta uses the ignition switch to "switch" to different preset Fuel Injection Maps. It onlt works when the Engine it running.

I am sure it can be done, HOW, I am not sure.

I assume you would have to mount the actual door opener to somewhere on the bike, splice the power line that goes to the horn and run a wire to the device's trigger.

Or just get velcro and attach it somewhere, maybe you can get an aftermarket device that is slimmer?

Gorilla makes an alarm that is also capable of opening garage doors. It can be programmed to open garage doors, gates, etc. It's also the cheapest alarm for bikes, I think. I have one on my Ex500, and it's never given me any trouble.
