ok i was doing a through wash on the bike and i was cleaning up under by the rear spring. i saw a black fuel line just dangling there? it doesnt look like it was ever clamped to anything. i never noticed it before. but i never cleaned really goood up there. is that supposed to be connected somewhere? bike runs fine

It's the breather hose.

is it saposed to be clamped or somethen...cuz mine is and i bought it that way...im not sure if i should keep it clamped or take it off...im in california too so im not sure if the stupid emissions crap weve got here has somethen to do with it..

I think the evap shit relies on the breather being capped in order for the emissions system being able to react to any change in fueling. uncapping it may screw with that system and make the bike run lumpy.
