if you go down a tooth does it effect how your miles are counted up or anything somehow i had a guy tell me this and it sounds kinda goofy so i dont know.

Does your speedo cable run off your transmission on the new models? On the F series it runs off the front wheel and wouldn't be affected by a gearing change. But I suppose if the gearing change would affect your speedometer it would probably change the odometer too (i.e. engine turning faster in given gear causes speedometer to read higher which causes odometer to roll faster.)

If you change the gearing on your bike, your clocks will be more inaccurate than stock.

hey rob thanks for the answer you know if i could find the search button i wouldnt have asked the question all it would have taken was a yes or no thanks for the help
