I'm just bumping this up the list 'cause I'm in the market for a GPR or Ohlins steering stabilizer also. So, I'm interested in the replies you get.

the GPR you're looking at is the one that attaches to your triple clamp center bolt? I'm having a hard time finding many Ohlins prices but so far they are quite expensive ... ~$500.

I've found some GPR's for around ~$380 give or take a few 10's.

the technology is just slightly better, but u wont be able to tell the difference between the two. The 6 is just as good as the 8. You will be fine with either

Its just an oil filled shock absorber really.. Its not an advanced model (either or).. They just restrict movement based on the viscosity of the oil and the orifice size you dial in. 6 ways is plenty for you to find a decent setting.. Some of the better dampers utilize different valving and basically "turn on" when the bars are moved quickly enough to activate the hydraulic circuit..
