Sorry for starting another one of these threads, the notice told me to do it.

Anyway, my name is Jay, 21 years old, SoCal.
I'm enrolled in an MSF course starting on the 27th of this month.
Got my finances lined up for a 250R.

I'm very excited to be going down the two wheeled path.

Since I'd like to get a new 250R if at all possible, what is the going price for these things OTD? I'm a college student, so every penny saved makes a huge difference.

Hi Jay, and Welcome.

Good on the course and the 250, but why not opt for a used bike? Saves you having to break it in and you'll get most of your money back when you trade up in a couple of years. Use the saving for the best gear you can afford.

I could do that as well, just gotta be careful picking the right one. I've never bought a used vehicle before either haha, this whole thing is a new experience for me.
