They're not good at track speeds. You don't go out there and do one lap then have a 5 minute cool down, like you would on a twisties run. It's balls to the wall the whole time, and the tires just keep getting hotter and hotter. Even street/track tires will slip around if you're running hard enough. Stock rubber would only work if you're grannying it along, maybe dragging knee but never putting any power down.
I will have to disagre with you there skywalker....
I had used the Bt-014's stockers for 2 track days and they felt fine..Given i am no marco melandri but, i was on the Power and using what they had and they felt fine, but i do have my bike dialed in pretty good...Passin intermediate riders on the outside in some fast turns
I do feel that they dont give the same feedback and insurance the
michelin power races i use do. but that is apples and oranges..
For most regular riders that arent RACING they will work fine, But i am sure you out some stickies on there they will run faster as well.
theyre probly fine to use, but i would advise against it. get yourself some nice pilots or something else (tons of threads on this) and you will be better off and probly feel more confident because you wont be worrying too much about your tires.
