i wanted to change the color of one of my bulbs to a color, and leave one white. i bought a super-white that im fairly happy with, but the "yellow" bulb i bought to go with it looks like a regular halogen bulb. it doesnt look like a yellow bulb; theres no contrast. i bought it from www.suvlights.com (H7, yellow, 55W).

what bulbs are you guys using? pictures would be great :) im debating whether to go the colored route or to just buy a nice set of really super-whites for both high and low beams.

what colors would look good? green/white, purple/white, yellow/white? blue/white is pretty common around here, and my buddy did the same thing already with his GSX-R. come to think of it, yellow/white is pretty common too. guess i just bought the wrong bulb --

thanks

I'd be happy to give you some advice, but I junked the headlight assembly all together. There are tons of bulbs available on eBay for decent money. Check it out, that way you won't be too upset should what you have no work probably. Whatever you do, don't go the fireman's route and stick a higher resistance fuse in there! []

i checked out Tommy's list of aftermarket parts and got a set of MTEC bulbs (55W consumption), plus a set of Eurodezigns green bulbs. total spent was about $35, including shipping and all. we'll see what happens... if not, i might buy a set of eurodezigns purple bulbs and see how they look.

and finally, ill create a 'bulb page' so everyone else will know what each combo looks like. :D

thanks --
