Show me where an Arai weighs less than a Bell M4 or a KBR VR1 and I might consider it scientific. If paying more makes the helmet better then Harley makes the best motorcycle.

This should get everyones blood pumping...I paid 86 dollars for my all black cirus helmet. I pulled all the stickers of and am gonna have it airbrushed to look like venoms head...Needless to say im a penny pincher

I would like to take a moment to thank speedvlaze for recommending a Search. Yes, I know, I should've done that before. [:I]

But he was right - there are a ton of good threads on this same topic. Still no "scientific evidence" of why some helmets are better than others (Snell and DOT certs aside). So, if anyone ever comes across an article or something, PLEASE post it!
