OK, I got some new grips and I am picking up some bar ends tomorrow.

Problem is, I can't get my bar ends off.

Are they reverse threaded? Or got a sealer on them?

I am turning counterclockwise.

So either I am turning the wrong way, they are super tight, or I am a weakling.

Also, anyone got any advice for changing grips?

Thanks

OK, turns out the are lock-tite.

And the thread pattern is standard. "Lefty Loosey, Righty Tighty"

I got the throttle side done. Still working on the clutch side.

The bar ends bots are soaking in cleaner for a while.

So far looks good.

OK, all is well.

Got both bar ends off. Tons of Lock-Tite on them. I worked the stock grips loose with a wire and peeled them off. I kept them intact (Many people just cut them off with a razor blade) just in case I wanted to put them back on.

I installed the pro grips.

Came out real nice.

If you coat the grip and the bar with a little bit of soapy water, the grip slides right on.

Some grips need a glue compound, others do not.

Oh, heads up. Grips do come in left and right. The throttle side
grip has a bigger diameter hole. So don't try and put the smaller one on the throttle. LOL.
