Hi all. Looking to identify my Moms old bike. I know it was a 90, I think it might have been in the G3 series, but the left hand exhaust and tank profile in conjunction with the low fenders has me stumped. I know the pic isn't great, but this is from 1975-1976 out in the Mojave Desert. I believe my Dad's was a 1972 F-8 Bison. Thank you in advance!

Hmmm... Interesting! Looks like a G3 all right but it looks to be a cross between a G3TR and a G3TRA. If your sure it was a 90cc engine I'd say it is a '69 or '70's TR with a '71 TRA tank and seat because the TRA was 100cc. Otherwise I'd say it was a TRA with the fender and chrome exhaust shield of the TR. Niether look to have the groovy paint scheme on your mom's bike though. Custom? Over seas version perhaps? Love the pic though! What a time to be alive! Playing in the desert that is mostly resricted now (on 2 strokes)! CB antenna! AND THE GUN RACK IN THE REAR WINDOW! LOVE IT! You made my day! Thanks!

Thank you for your replies! We had a blast growing up in the Mohave Desert. I'll keep looking for info on my Mom's bike...I'm starting to think it might have been a franken-bike. I'm looking to find another 71 F8 Bison. Pat

Yea that's cool a picture, small motorcycles and mini bikes were every where back then. At least in Ohio where I grew up, now it's all Harley's and quads here.
