Whats going on fellas on my 6r i replaced the clip ons and took the triple tree off i ask the dealer for specs to torque the triple tree down but all the guy told me was tight but not too tight, does any body know a spec, or how do yall tell its tight enough. an advice will help fellas thanks.

If your bike is a 1995 to 1997 ZX-6R, torque the steering stem head nut to 36 ft·lb or 49 N·m, and the front fork clamp bolts to 20 ft·lb or 14.5 N·m.

If not, specify the year of your bike.

You actually need to back it off and run it up to 36, don't just try and pull it a little extra.
