HELP: Starting and Battery problems

I installed an alarm recently, which is a bunch of rewiring. I checked to make sure that there are no shorts, aka no current running out of the battery when the bike is off.

Problem 1: On some mornings the battery is just dead, even though I rode quite a bit the day before.

Problem 2: Its hard to start. The started attempts to start but the engine just doesnt "catch on". At that moment battery level is fine. This happens even if the bike is quite warm, like after turning it off for 15 minutes after an hour ride.

I thought it was a spark plug problem, but once it starts it runs perfect.
Also considered it being fludded/overchoked while the choke is off, but the idle speed seems fine.
Also considered dirty carbs/filter, but again, its perfect once it starts.
I have no clue as to what's going on with the battery or if it may be the cause of the starting problems.

Whats bugging me is that the bike is perfect otherwise, so I have no idea what could be the cause.

Thanks!!!

It sounds like you have a charging problem. Check you alternator. It may be that your alternator is charging just enough to keep the bike running but is not charging the battery while you are riding so that you are eventually only running off the battery, and run it down quickly.

Life is short, but sweet for certain...
