I have the same sort of set up......not really the ride height setter....spring preload helps the ride height but in relation to your weight.

never adjusted mine, was already set up for someone my size.

i'm interested in how to remove said pin too, can't recall seeing it in the manual, but it should be in there somewhere.

Thanks rider, didnt know :) The manual doesnt seem to cover that so it's a big help.

I weigh approx 13 stone + kit

Glad I could help, Si. 13 stone, hmmm- something like 182lbs? The preload adjuster should have plenty of working range for you, although (technically) you may be a bit too heavy for the standard spring.
