Anyone know of a high exit slip-on for the 6R?
I thought I'd seen one, but can't find it now.
Thanks...

Is the Hindle a complete exhaust or a slip-on.
Do you have any pics?

Anyone have any pics of this setup yet?

Go green or go home...
yeah, let's see some pics. I wonder if it'll maintain the passenger pegs, and if the blinkers will have to be relocated.
high mount only comes with full system right?
That seems to be true. Because of the bolt-on nature of the canister, it seems that only full systems support the high exit.

Talked to a Hindle rep today at the Toronto show about high-bent slip-ons and yes, Hindle does make one for the '98-02 6R. If anyone's interested, the website is:

www.hindle.com

Sounds nice, haven't seen it...
Jesus, they don't even know how to *spell* Kawasaki. They're not getting any of my money.

Hindle rep today clarified a few things for me today...

They DO make a high-mount system for the '98-02, but it's a FULL system only, runs about $1100 CDN or $670 US... they have a high-mount slip on available for the '03 however. (The '98-'02 is a bolt-on)

They are also in the process of completely rebuilding their website and should be up and running VERY soon. This guy was embarassed at how lame their old site was and was pretty pumped about their new site starting up soon...

Hello from Manila,

Aside from Hindle, Arrow, Leo Vince, Ninja (a UK outfit), and HMF make high-mount full systems.

Might want to check out these links:

Arrow: http://www.arrow.it/eng/produzione/foto.asp?id=408

Leo Vince: http://www.leovince-america.com/

Ninja: http://www.ninja.tm.fr/pageKawaZX9R-ZX6R-ss.htm

HMF: http://www.hmfengineering.com/kawzx6pg.html

Looks? I'd go for the Ninja.

Performance? Leo Vince first, Arrow second.

Could go the cheap way too. Find where you want to mount it. Then take a coat hanger and bend it to reach to it from your headers. Now go to a custom exhaust shop and have them bend a pipe for you. Hook it up and see what it looks like. Paint your headers black with high temp paint and now you have a custom high mount exhaust with your choice of end can for a whole $20.

Of course it might look like crap, but hey you can buy lots of nice stuff with the $680 you saved. =)

Just to add to what DJ Dunzie said, the hindle full system highmount oval system can be gotten for $875CDN in aluminum can, 975 in titanium, and I think 1125 in carbon.
This is from Pro6 Cycle here in Ontario.

And nowdays I believe Hindle is on par with ANYONE for performance gains, and build quality is MUCH improved. Their racing efforts have really been improving their products over the past 4 or 5 years.
