Hindle Stealth Slip-On FYI

FYI: Got my Hindle Stealth Slip On in from Kneedraggers the other day and installed it. The Stealth model is noticeably louder than the stock exhaust at idle and at +5000rpms. Its very deep sounding and I must say that Im pleased. The Supersport version must be very loud and probably not what I would have wanted.
Anyways, the exit of the can is VERY close in diameter to the entrance of the can which dispells the myth that the Stealth model has a taper to it in order to reduce the decibels (and performance as some of us feared). My guess would be that the only difference between the two is how they are "packed". Install went easy and quality is very good IMO.:)

just ordered a full system for my 636. will see what it sounds like but it won't let me down
So do you think that the supersport would have been TOO loud? I am looking into getting the high mount slip on, but I have to figure out what I'm gonna do with my turn signals.
Of course I never heard the Supersport model but based on what Ive heard from my stealth model, it must be pretty loud. My stealth model is DEEPER sounding than the stock exhaust but I wouldnt say that its "wake the neighbors" loud like how Ive been reading about the supersport version.
I spoke with Hindle about this last year for another bike. He claims the stealth is 1lb heavier & makes 1/2hp less. I think the sound is 9db lower.
I know I'm getting a hindle...and its only a 1/2hp...damn & I dont want all that attention from cops either.
I guess that is why I don't like Hindle. My friend had one and it sounded like he was revving the hell out of his motor. I guess he had the supersport.

If I remember my physics, 10db gain is twice as loud. For example 100db is 2x as loud as 90db. 9db is a lot!
According to the Akrapovic website, the stock can is about 95db at 6500rpm and their slip-on is 96.5db at 6500rpm. Lets assume that the Hindle stealth slip-on is about the same "loudness" as the Akrapovic slip-on, that would put the supersport version at about 105.5db at 6500rpm.
As a reference:
Near total silence - 0 dB
A whisper - 15 dB
Normal conversation - 60 dB
A lawnmower - 90 dB
A car horn - 110 dB
A rock concert or a jet engine - 120 dB
A gunshot or firecracker - 140 dB
