I just ordered Sprocket Specialist 14 tooth front sprocket. Does anyone have any first hand experience with it? The good and the bad?

I think I had a Sprocket Specialist front sprocket on my '96. It was also a 14 tooth. I didn't put too many miles on it, but it seemed to be much more lightweight and of very good quality. It was either a Sprocket Specialist or a Renthal.

14T front sprocket eh?

- stock: I had to play with the clutch a little to get the bike to wheelie out of corners around town

- 14T: Rolling on the throttle produces those crossed up wheelies I so cherish :D

SB... LOL... don't we all ??? :)

Sprocket Specialists have a pretty good rep, you'll see lots of racers using their stuff, so can't be all bad.

I've used their stuff for a few years now and have never had any problems. Great service when ordered direct from them too...

well im finished installing it. it took about an hour. hardest part was loosening and readjusting the chain. feels like it has much more power, especially how it pulls through first. i almost looped it first time i tried picking it up. again thanks for all the info.
