Got my '02 for 6970 out the door and 2300 for a trade worth about 1600. I somewhat know one of the sales guys from a couple of rides I went on with him and others and I had a trade in that a parts guy wanted for his son. We hooked each other up on that one. My '83 Honda Ascot 500 was not see'ing much riding lately and I'd always want a crotch rocket. But it did take 3 days to hash it all out.
For a moment, nothing happened. Then, after a second or so, nothing continued to happen.
I got my 01 last spring when the 02s were coming out and this one had been on the floor and I had been working on them for a while which ended up me me paying $6900...with tax etc about $7400. Considering the 01s were going for about 8200 that was a good deal. When Kawasaki dropped the 02 msrp to $7600 the dealer needed to unload the last 01 and I just kept going. Depending upon what kind of hurry you are in you can make some good deals of left overs when the new bikes come out early in the year.

To put it in perspective the RRP of the new 03 model here is US equiv 11,364.80!!! <img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle>
