hi guys and gals
does anyone have a link or can write a 'how to' remove the standard rear undertray. i look yesterday and it looks like you gotta remove the whole rear fairing, take batt out and all the rest
is this correct???
i thought you would just have to remove some screws and pull the thing off!
PLEASE HELP pics would be great as well!

i think you have to remove the screws, the battery, the center brace between the subframe and anything else in the way, its alot of work i think for that stupid thing...

loadsa people have doneit thought for undertrays
i wanna make my own. as in cut the original down but i just thought id would be easier with the tray off.
has anyone done this with it left on.

I think most people just hack it there and work with it, why dont you just buy a undertail, i just bought a brand new targa undertail on ebay for like $50 shipped.... look around...

You can hack it up in place quite easy, it's soft plastic. an Exacto knife works fine.
If you are going to add in an aftermarket under tail, you'll need to cut the bottom of the trunk off, again, pretty easy.

If you really want to get it out, you do need to remove the rear fairing, battery, and clips.
