I know I promised it would be done 2 weeks ago but work has been hell. This page has pics and video detailing the steps involved in shimming the needles on your 2002 ZX6R and prev years.
All I can say is mine runs so much nicer after doing it. It was dramatic as our 6R really had a bad hiccup at the 5-6k rpm range.

Yes. I was told this worked fine (better than a jet kit? Probably not, but better than nothing) on older models. Maybe someone should bump that old thread up?
Anyway looking at that page I forgot how detailed I was by including a video. Damn I was ambitious Sad that so few are willing to do the mod considering how much better the bike(my wifes) was.
