Hey all, I need to replace one of the front rotors, although I have no idea how to lift the bike. The last bike I had was a ninja 250 and it had a nice centerstand ( which i miss more each day ). How do you guys do it? I am getting spools and a stand for the bike, btw but I dont want to get a whole new stand for the front :( thanks for thehelp!

From the Arizona files (formerly the Alabama files) I changed out my front tire recently using a car scissor jack and a 2x4. If you've already got the rear stand, you're halfway there, I had to use a long 2x8 to anchor the back with tie downs on each side. Just use the 2x4 under the header pipes and jack it up (with the fairings off of course) and test it's seaworthiness before removing the front wheel. You'll need a 12mm allen wrench for one side, and a 14mm for the other doesn't hurt. Left mine jacked up for a day and didn't notice any denting or ill effects[8D]
