I would go with either Akropovic, Micron, or Yoshimura personally. As far as I'm concerned, AK is at the top of the list for looks, fit, finish, quality, sound, etc... If it's just too spendy for you go for one of the others. btw i've also heard good things about V&H if that's the way you're leaning... I don't think you'd be disappointed, but my vote goes to AK.
I'm with VR, those three are all very reputable, and I might add the Laser hotcam to that list. I went Akrapovic, and I've never been happier with a pipe for build quality. You won't beat it. It sounds really sexy too...
But Yosh and Micron both have excellent fit and finish. Personally, if you don't wanna fork out for the Akrapovic, Yosh would be my second choice.

I finally have got enough cash saved up to by some exhaust(slip-on) for my 01 6R this week. I know I've posted about your opinions on exhuast on here before. I've been really thinking about V&H S4(aluminum not titanium), but I want to be damn sure that I get my money's worth and that I'm happy with my purchase. Is there any other slip-on that is of DAMN GOOD QUALITY, FIT, FINISH, SOUND, APPEARENCE, ETC., that I should consider??? I hear that Micron is a kickass slip-on too. I really want your guys opinions on every pipe you can think of, I just don't want to be dissappointed and pissed cause I blew my hard earned cash on something that I'm not happy with. If you guys have would like to give any advice please do. Also if you have any pictures of your bikes with exhaust on, or have any sound clips let me know.
I have the S4 on my 01...looks great...sounds really nice...quiet when you are rolling around town...gets loud when you want it to...preformance gains...none!! But I don't think any pipe on the ZX is going to give you anything...I know there are die hards that believe everything they read and say they FELT the power after putting a pipe and jet kit on their bikes, but real world testing with my bike and a few others say you gain nothing in terms of power, only gains would be flat spots in the power band are now gone.
Is anyone familiar with Quill exhausts? They are imported from Great Britain. They are high-end with the price to prove it, but I am just surprised they are not more widely known. They must just be rarer than some, I suppose.
