Someone told me that if I take off the muffler there will be a decrease in back pressure resulting in loss of power. Is this true? If I ride around with the muffler off than put it back on will I gain the power back, or will that hurt the engine forever?

Just dont ride it with the can off, that "lack of back pressure" will toast those all important valves, just get a k&n and a slip-on (preferrably an M4 cause i gots some in stock heheheh)

I rode without the exhaust when I was working on it and it was fucking loud. I could not wait to get home and put my exhaust back on.
