Has anyone used bar risers (Genmar handle bar risers) on their ZX6R? There's alot of pressure on your wrists with this bike. My b/f thinks maybe you could just bolt/weld together two sets of clip ons on top of eachother and remove the bottom tube.

Anyone try any of these things or his crazy idea?

Corbin Seat: Anyone have one? Any difference?

I checked into the helibars (didn't see zx6r either) I'll have to check out if the "9" will fit.

I actually put my first 300KM on my bike yesterday. It was pretty comfortable as far as a sportbike goes. Maybe I won't need a Corbin seat afterall.

Thanks

One idea to eleviate wrist pressure is the use of GenMar handlebar risers. I bought a pair for my '95 and it made a big difference, by far the best comfort investment I've ever made (about $60), and it retains the stock look of the bike. Also very easy to install yourself, took about 10 minutes. Check 'em out at www.zianet.com/genmar

I like the grip idea......

My best fix was my posture.......straightening my back and gently squeezing my legs in on the tank......but, I too am looking into a seat for more comfort.Gel of some sort.......

I have used the Pro Grip gel grips and they or O.K. I recently tried the Grab On Comfort Grip and like them better. I have used their products in the past on mountain bikes and they worked very well. As an added benefit they are very cheap. They are only supposed to sell for about $6 although the bikes shops around here mark the up to $10.

I got the 2 brother V3 risers and a Corbin seat and softened up my compress a few cickins and softened up mr rebound 1 click and that made a pretty big difference in comfort...

ofcourse after all this it isn't the track weapon it once was but getting it back to stock is easy enough....
