Two weeks ago I installed my new Sprocket Specialists sprockets. I went with a 14 tooth front (-1) and a 42 tooth (+2) rear. I reused my stock chain.

I love it! The bike is much more responsive. Much more torque down low. Here are my pro and cons.

PROS
1. Much better acceleration
2. Will wheelie in first gear with just throttle
3. No more needing to downshift on the highway, pulls great in top gear.
4. Better pulling power with a passenger

CONS
1. Buzzy on the highway cruising at 7-8K. Hands were numb the first few rides but I'm now used to it.
2. Speedo reads higher than actual speed
3. 135 MPH top speed (not a concern for me)

Overall I am very happy with the sprockets. Power in first and second gear is much improved. I also like not having to downshift on the highway so much if you have to pass quickly. I bought my sprockets from parts411.com Great mod!
