Man that thing looks dark. It is just what I want though lookswise. Does anyone use it and have any comments?

i ride with a dark smoke shield. its not even too dark during the nighttime for me

I have the Shoei dark smoke and it works great for daytime riding. If its cloudy I'll usually switch to my clear shield.

I ride with a dark during the day and it it fine. At night or when its couldy I use the mellow smoke.

Guess it depends on your eyes. My friend has the lite smoke one and he has to keep the visor up at nite. But its all good in the day.

I love my dark smoke shield in the day. It does get pretty dark at night. I have another helmet with a clear shield that I wear if I go out at night.

dark smoke looks like it's hella dark for actual riding use but when your actually using it, it's really not all that dark (unless your using it at night). For night time or cloudy dark situations a non-tinted (clear) shield is recommended, usually if I plan on riding long enough that it'll get dark out I'll bring my clear shield with me.
