I just passed the MSF-BRC and my jacket and helmet smell like ass. How do you deal with odor?

not sure, maybe try baking soda then vacuum it off after a few hours
but i normally wipe em down with a damp cloth and a non toxic mild cleaner, i found that usually takes care of the recent smells

I wash my jacket, and as for the helmet, mine has removeable pads to wash, but my head must smell nice cause it never stinks...or maybe I'm just immune to my own stink LOL

dont use febreeze in your helmet, it can irritate your skin. go to a sporting goods store and buy odor eliminator for hockey equipment. it kills the bacteria, therefore the smell. works great.

Oh yea.. smell, Buy a new jacket and helmet with removable and washable inserts. Thats why i don't like leather jackets.
