Great to see a site for the 6 finally. I was getting sick of all the boasting of the 12's sites ! LOL!!!

So I'm from Mackay in the sunshine state of Queensland, Australia.. and here's a pic of my bike.

http://www.pbase.com/image/2809613

Bought it about 6mths ago, second hand. A 1998 model, in black, silver, purple with 36,000kms on her. Only mod is a carbon fibre can (very loud, cops harass me all the time!), but hope to jet it to match soon as it burps and farts coming back down..

So far have seen 220km/hr indicated and was scared.. gets a lot of lift from the front end at that speed.

PS I'm a rock climber too... as per the siggy.. http://www.qurank.com/

Well keep safe and happy riding.

And i thought idiot coppers harrasing bikers was a UK only problem ;)

Engine size is no substitute for lunacy...
I swear that if I'm not doing less than 5000rpm, the cops get neck injuries when I go passed...

Who needs more cubes?
finally worked out how to post a pic so here it is - - - -->>>

My 1998 ZX6R G1 - pipemasters carbon pipe, K&N washable filter, D207 front D220 rear. And its the only black/gold/purple one I've seen where I live!

Bike looks great man, love the paint too... sweet.
Well guys, I hate to say it... but the 6R is no more..[:0]

Trading her this week on a 2003 FireBlade... I know where's my brand loyalty....?? But for a low AUS$15000 I couldn't pass it up..

Well I'm off to the Honda Sportsbike Network now,, but don't throw me out, I'll be back to Kawi one day..

Thanks for all the great info i've taken from here..

Later JB
Well, ya wouldn't be the ONLY non-Kawi rider frequenting the forum. IMHO it's still the best source of non-biased information, good people to yack with, and a just plain ol' good time.
