I have a new 2006 special edition ZX6R and want to install the "NO CUT" frame sliders but everone i spoke to said don't do it, you must cut and mount directly to the frame, so I did but I cut as little as i could to make it fit. I went with the Vortex two piece set, I like the way it looks and very easy to replace if need be.

Good job. I too went with the cut sliders. If you are going to do something, you might as well do it the right way. I went with shogun.

got the same, except black. Cutting was no big deal. Did yours come with the the bolt long enough for the right. I had to use the stock bolt on one side, cant remember which.

The Vertec slider kit came with two 80mm screws that were the same size, i went back to cycle gear and told them that one of the bolts were to short, so they opened another kit and gave me the right 100mm long bolt. So all is good now :D
