are you and the gixxer stock?
Was he on a GSXR 750, or a Katana 750? What year was his bike? I have a hard time believing this one.
yeah, I'm calling bullshit on this one...[:M48]
if it was the gsx katana then it sounds possible...
A gixxer 750 would rip the mouth out of a 92 zx6. Not to be an asshole either, but there is no way. I have an 03 636 and a new gixxer 750 will still walk away in the flats. Curves is another story.
had to be a can 'o tuna. and the guy on it might not be a better rider.
well, i've raced a buddy of mine with a 750 1 down in front and a yosh slip on and wslowly walked away from him. thats froma dead stop and then form a 40mph roll. maybe its the driver........ maybe its the 636.
Maybe there is a really good deal on cheap gas that eveyone is passing around! Do you think i could get some? [:M42]
I used to have a 03 ZX6 and there's no way I could take a 750 based on the bikes. Even with all my mods I'd get smoked by a 750 with a good rider on it...

Maybe the rider on 750 didn't know you were racing :)
I ride and '03 636 and today I raced an F-18 Hornet. He got his ass handed to him. I do have a lot of mods though. Power commander, full exhaust, turbo, flux capacitor, rocket engine, nuclear reactor, monkey butler, and a small boy pushing the bike. It was no contest.
it was a 1990 gixxer katana, his is stock, i have a exhaust mod.. his bike is quite a bit bigger and a lot heavier..
LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL at Medicine man....

but did you know they actually did that? the 2004 viper and the hornet raced on the quarter mile, and the viper killed on the take off.. but after 4 seconds or so, the hornet started catching up. they crossed the line in milliseconds in difference, in favour of the hornet though. thats means our machines CAN beat the Hornet.:D On the quarter mile that is....
As far as racing and the type of bikes that are involved..i believe the difference of winning and losing depends on the rider. Yes some bikes are faster than others but if you saw some of the things i seen you would be shocked. I have a buddy with a zx6e and he got some serious launching abilities. He has beaten 750's and 900's. Yeah the bigger bikes would start to catch up moments later but by then the race is already over. IMHO it's the launching capabilities that win or lose races.
O.K. I traded My GSXR750 for football tickets, but I have to jump in here...
Peter33.... GSXR = GIXXER (note the "R" at the end
GSX = SHIT (note the "shit" at the end
I may not have one anymore but you will not equate the GIXXER with a shitana!
gixxer-katana that's funny

:D Remember though, on carbeurated bikes it should be power commander and on an FI bike it should be fully jetted to be authentic. lol
