Can anyone advise if I can simply replace my halogen indicator bulbs with led’s or do I need also to replace the relay ?

Hi and welcome :cheers:

Just a bit of general information about led swaps.

There have been incidents with people here changing their "bulbs" with led elements and ending up with fried alternators.

In one particular case, a Versys owner made the above change after his bike's alternator failed due to mileage and age and ended up with the new alternator being fried after only one month.

He did it in order to lighten the load on the electric circuit and ended up inadvertently causing more harm then good as is often the case with motorcycles.

Other people did the same without any problems though, but a mechanic in whom I trust told me that the real problem is the disturbance in tension and wavelength caused by the replacement that are both impossible to predict or calculate :dunno:

I’ve replaced the running lamps with nil issues.
The rear light/ brake is an LED factory unit.
I’m thinking of swapping my indicators and headlights??

Helmets

I have the Torque V124 sold at ALDI.
Can anyone advise of an EBay or other source where I can obtain tinted replacement visors?
The helmet is a large 61cm

I’ve tried and even bought some from EBay but the size is narrower and not wide enough. Not to mention the quick locking mechanism is set up differently??

Replaced headlights with 8000lm led’s.
Straight swap, nil issues
Can you please tell us which brand and model of LED's you used?
