You can get a preload spanner at progressivesuspension.com or kowatools.com.

Does anyone know where to get the tool to adjust the pre-load on the rear shock. I know that I read somewhere you can use a screw driver but I don't want to risk it. Thanks

If it ain't broke don't touch it.......yeah right!!
... as another potential option, the local dealers here will let you borrow theirs for a minute or two no charge if you wanna explore that option with one in your area...

Yes with out a doubt check with your dealer they tend to be very helpful. And while we're on the topic this months Performance Bikes magazine, UK rag, has a supplemental set up book for just about every sport bikes suspension and the featured article is.... the Kawasaki 636. Made an un godly difference to my bike.
i hate my dealers, that's why i am trying to do everything myself...

Thanks for all the help..

I'm assumming these tools would work for the my steering stem as well since the nuts looks to be the same as my preload except they are smaller...
