Lockhart Phillips or Zero Gravity?

I'd go with zero gravity. Any shop I have ever talked to, has recomended zero gravity screens due to the fact that they are more maliable. LP is quite brittle apparently.

I've got a 97 6r that i would like to put a dark smoke windscreen on. The Lockhart Phillips is $20 bucks cheaper for the same screen. Has anyone had both and have an opinion on which is better. Thanks

I heard that LP sells their screen to ZG and ZG just puts their name on it!!?? I can get a double bubble dark smoke for my 02 for $60

That sounds quite sketchy to me... I'd be hard pressed to believe that.

I still have the bag my Zero Gravity screen came in.

It says, "Each piece made in the USA by Zero Gravity Corp." on it. And I didn't see any LP references anywhere on it.

I have a Zero Gravity double bubble clear on my '95 ZX-6R. The fit and optical quality are excellent, much better than the stock screen. I don't notice much difference between the double bubble and stock on the highway. If it makes any difference, the Zero Gravity folks are the ones who invented the double bubble.
My LP is great, broke my first one but that was my own damn fault.

For sure, LP does not make the ZG screens. They are a lot different. Up close you'll see many diff's. When I ordered mine, I wanted a ZG, but they were backordered, and I was subbed an LP V2 Speedscreen instead. Annoyed at first, I am now happy. I've had zero probs with it. it fits great, and looks good. Flows the air much better than stock too (for my riding pos anyway). They main diff I noticed is the finished edge on them. The ZG's is smooth, while the V2's is not as smooth. No biggie. The factory team green kawi's use the V2 (in AMA anyway).
I was going to go with either Zero Gravity or LP, but couldn't find one red tinted for my bike. I did find this one, and am most pleased with quality and looks.

I ordered my LP V2 Dark Smoke yesterday. Can't wait till it gets here. It's also a double bubble and got it for $60.00

Cdnninjazx6r: You have good taste. Your pics helped me make up my mind. Do you know how many 02 zx6r look like ours?? How many did they make with that pattern(colors)??
