How’s it going guys, new to the forums here. I’m debating on going to look at a 2007 zx6r (02/07 date) with 10k miles soon and I was just gonna get some feedback on if the apparent engine problems are as common as they seem? The valve cover gasket recall has been done. It’s a very clean bike overall but the horror stories are the only thing that are straying me away.

I've read just as many posts with guys who haven't had any problems with their 07 and 08's ... if it does leak oil then its sensible to do all the seals together rather than each individually.
That said - imo - they are not too impossible to maintain even for a first time bike owner like myself.
If the bike runs well and has no tell tale signs of being a project bike .. I'd go for it.
