Well, our "little sixes" as people refer to them, can use some help from time to time....here is one that helped my bike out alot.

I will suggest this for guys/gals with some type of mod done to their exhaust system(slipon/full system). Those that are fimiliar with KLEEN removal will find this easy.

On the top of you motor under the air box, is a rubber based valve assembly that connects to the valve cover through two rubber elbows..remove it..leave the elbows behind and remove the valve assembly along with the other hose that goes to the air box.The remaining small hose....plug it.(I used a tight fitting 10mm bolt)Secure it with a zip tie to keep it from dangling around.

The spot where the hose plugged into the air box needs to be covered, be resourcefull,I used duct tape and a piece of rubber tube that was the same size that was on it in the beginning.

Then take the crank case vent tube and remove it.....the spot where it too plugged into the air box needs to be plugged....again same idea.
Then, at your local Canadian Tire(or equivalant) get a T-type connector that is the right size to insert into the rubber elbows at the top of your motor.....also get a lenght of the same kind of tube that will go from the top of your motor to the bottom(about 2 feet), where you disconnected the crank case vent tube....getting the picture??

Once home again,Install the T fitting atop the motor and route the tube through to the bottom to connect to the crank case vent. Making sure not to restrict anything from the new hose that now lives under the gas tank area....I think I routed mine straight through the carb assembly....carefully.

This mod is like turbo-charging your crank case....as the motor spins up there is case pressure created by blow-by gasses...your exhaust KLEEN reed valve will draw out this pressure (one way only) in proportion to engine speed.....perfectly balanced...

I run mine since the Last race school in Aug. and have had no side affects only gains in tourque....

Yeah I remember seeing this post on SBN. I never got around to doing it though. I'm like Human, need pics :) It sounds like there's no negatives, only benefits from doing it. I may attempt it if I can have it explained in laymans terms for my dumb a$$.

Sent some emails to you guys....hope they came through.

Easier than posting pics/hosting...something or other....for me that is.

Let me and other know of your progress....also one more.....try running your oil level on the lower side of the fill glass......I run mine at the lower 1/4 level.....enough to know there is still plenty extra and when she desides to start to use oil then I'll also know.....This is a racers trick and can be beneficial to those of us who keep great/very good maintaince(?)(care) of our babies.......

Thanks for the instructions baddassjake, I made the change this afternoon and I can tell a difference already. Not nearly as much popping when coming down from high revs, and unless I'm crazy it feels like the lower end has picked up even more (I recently dropped a tooth on the front sprocket, also a great mod). What do you mean about running the oil lower? Do I have to worry about more blow-by now? Not getting paranoid just want to know about possible side effects. Thanks.

Weezy,....Actually there is less blow by to be factored in now cause it is being sucked out by the exhaust now....The lower oil level is to help with a couple areas....something to do with crankshaft not dipping into the oil as deep.....and giving a larger space for gasses to expand.....Drawbacks are if you don't watch your oil level and you start to use oil then you can well you know........destroy many things......but your oil light will let you know of this forthcoming....

badassjake...
I want to thank you on behalf of the forum for sharing this info.
This is one of the main reasons that I love the internet. A place for knowledgable people to share some of the tricks to make things easier for others that share the same hobbies.

Thanks

Doh! Jason, could you re-send me that email??? I saved the picture, but my hotmail account was almost full, so after I saved the pic I deleted it form my inbox. Only to find out that when I copied the text (ctrl C) I must have hit the wrong key...when I went to past it into notepad it wasn't there :( So now all I have is the pic with no text to go with it (dumnbass, I know)! Thanks man!

Well, here's hoping there will be a definate answer as to how well this mod works on many bikes......Once we get some more people doing this we should find out what systems/slip-ons and other mods that compliment this.....
As I can say this did quite a difference for my bike.....
There is a full Hindle system,Dynojet Kit,stock/K&N filter, plus said mod....there might be a link as to what works better with what....

feed back is good.....

I recently did this mod when I installed my full titanium HMF exhaust and factory jet kit. My bike has tons more power now, dunno if the KLEEN mod did anything though? Cant hurt though.

bsc - how do you like your HMF pipe? i'm thinking about one for my track bike. i've heard that if you just install with no jetting you get like a 8hp increase. true or untrue? thanks

I would like to express my gratitude to Badassjake. My bike had the Kleen system removed already so when I went to do the mod it did not look anything like it was supposed to. Jake here walked me through the entire process.. now I have to wait 4 months before I can test it. It really is an easy mod just sounds difficult
