I tried a search, and came up sort of dry.

Anyone know where I can find frame sliders or crash bars for a 2001 250r? A buddy just picked one up so we can all learn how to ride better. Meaning-laying it down often. We would just like to protect as much as possible.

You need to refine your search as there are literally dozens of threads on frame sliders on the site. In fact, there is a thread on no-cut frame sliders on this very page that you don't even have to search for.

Sorry, I hadn't had any coffee yet. Everything I was seeing seemed to be '08 and up.

From what I've read there really isn't much you can do with frame sliders for our bikes. The reason is that there's not really any good places to mount them.
