dont expect for the bike to stand up the same way it did before you lower it. its gonna stand more upright.

Ok, im getting ready to lower my bike about 1-2" and im wandering if it is going to affect the position of my kickstand. I have a friend with the 929 and he lowered his almost causing his to stand straight up with the kickstand down..any suggestions..let me know if i should buy a new shorter on or cut down the one i have...thanks. sandy
You can take it to a machine shop and have it bent by heating up the kickstand and bending it or you can have it cut down by cutting out a piece and rewelding it. The most expensive way is to buy an adjustable kickstand and they sell for about $150.00. The machine shop work will cost usually about $20 to $40.00.
