Ok, don't laugh, but i like the way these look.

Should i even bother with them and will they clear the right side fairing?

Even with the aluminum end cap, I would think they would offer some protection although not at the level of the delrin sliders.

Any thoughts?

BTW, this is for a street only bike.

as long as they stick out in the right places you should be good. dont know if they are good for the track or high speed crashes. they would look good on your bike.

they look good, I have em on mine, but they are not that strong because they bolt into the fairing mounting bolts (for the 00-02s anyway), which are pretty thin.
They are good for reducing damage in a drop or maybe a low speed lowside, but not much more then that.

You can see they dont stick out much, I wish they did stick out more..
