Kawasaki calls the 1995 to 1997 ZX-6R the ZX600F model. Specifically, your 1996 bike is an F2 model if it is a 49-state spec bike, or an F2L model if it is a CA spec bike.

The service manual describes all the maintenance procedures for either bike.

i'm trying to buy a good book on my model since i never got the manual, one that will help me with maintenance, tune-ups, etc.
