Some guy here stuck a 636 logo on his bike.. it was funny, tried to convince us it really was a 636 (we in North America did not get a 636 in 02, only 599), said he had it imported.
Some people believed him until I pointed out the "assembled in Canada" sticker.. hehe

Canada didn't get the 636 in 02, we had the same 599 mill as the US. Europe and Ausytalia, and I guess Scandenavia only.

I think it was everywhere outside North America got the 636, us here (Canada, US, and I dunno about Mexico) got 599.

Guys no offence taken, but a few things gave it away;
1.02' zxr's didn,t come in a 636 configuration down here i don't think[?]
2.clear indicator lenses aren't standard.
3.polished rims.
4.the rear mud guard as been modified.
5.too many similar things to make it a coincidence.
Besides when you own a kwakasaki you tend to notice other kwakasaki's[8D] Hey wolf maybe we can catch up at garbo have coffee at tuscannis or a beer at the irish pub and talk bikes[?][^]

Sweet bike, I would have liked to get the silver 636 they got in other countries in '02. Very nice bike in my opinion.

Scandenavia is in Europe too, Europe Australia and Japan got the 636 in 02
