I was wondering if there was a way to put an electric speedometer from a later model on my 1995 zx6r. Also would the tach read the same on new guages? I am wanting guages from an 04 or so. Could a bicycle speedometer be hooked up to the 04 guages, or at least use some kind of transmitter that would read right for the new guages. Get what I am saying. WOuld it be possible? THanks

yes, go look around the zx7r forum, a guy posted up how to do it, you need a sprocket nut and a senser for that and the rest is just wireing, and the tach is just a few wires that hook to the engine so it should read the same but with a bar insted of the needle moving. I was actually planning on doing a 05 guage swap this winter on my 98 but i dont know about yours but mine is not cable speedo and i would imagine yours isnt either...
