The oils are basically the same. I wouldn't expect a shop to go out and get the Mobil 1 for you. Ask them if you can bring them a jug of Mobil 1 for the oil change.
Motul vs Mobil1 15W50
Is there any real difference between Mobil1 and Motul 5100?
The reason I'm asking is I'm going to book my bike in for an "A" service soon and the oil my local shop uses is Motul 5100 15W50.
I'm planning to use the Mobil 1 15W50 in subsequent changes myself after that and have read that it's best to use the same oil each time if possible.
Should I ask them to use the Mobil or let them use the Motul?

I'd ask them to use Mobil 1 MX4T - but that's just me.

Motul 5100 is semi-synthetic. Go for Motul 300V, which is 100% synth.
