My 1st bike... here at last!!

Hi everyone. I previously asked a question about bike security but haven't really introduced myself. Anyhow, I just bought an '00 red ZX-6R with 6000 miles on Ebay and it was delivered by its owner today! I was a little nervous about the whole process but the owner was a real nice and honest guy and everything went smoothly.

The bike is completely stock except for some frame (err fairing tab) sliders and it's in mint condition. No scratches, dents, dings, etc etc. It's so stock it even has the original Dunlop D207 tires still on it! The bike looks absolutely gorgeous in person, pictures just don't seem to capture the red very well. It's been such a trial finding a good condition, well priced, non-modded example I'd almost given up. Anyhow, I look forward to riding the bike in a month or two. I have insurance already but I need to get gear (besides a helmet). I also need to wait till the beginning of April to take the MSF class I've signed up for to get some experience and get my M endorsement. So the bike sits in the garage till then. Hopefully it'll keep on snowing in the DC metro area so I don't feel like I'm missing out on any riding!
