Ya I usually NEVER ride without my Joe Rocket jacket, but I dont know if u watch the weather at all but here in Boston it was 98 and about 85% humidity....try wearing a jacket in that weather....I dont think so!!!!

i was out riding the other day in cape hatteras, north carolina. heat index was 117 degrees. had all my gear on, i think i lost about 20 pounds from sweating so damn much. needless to say that the rest of my riding down there was casual and i only wore a t-shirt, jeans, helmet. TOO DAMN HOT!!!

I live in Southwestern NY and it has been very hot this summer, mid to high 80's each day. I would wear my leather jacket but that got way to hot, so i bought a Joe Rocket Phoenix Jacket, it is great for protection and lets you breath. You should try it out, you wont be disappointed<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

i live in upper florida, i wear the joe rocket reactor jacket during the summer. i've actually found it cooler to ride in a jacket on days than without. main reason is because the jacket keeps your sweat on you to cool you down, where a t-shirt lets it get evaporate faster than it can cool you down.

i'd rather be safe personally...

Buy some Jeans and Jackets that have Kevlar linings.

I've seen someone come off at 150km/hr with these on and
his legs came up pretty good.
